We manufacture cement according to European Union and Latvian State standards governing composition, specifications and compliance criteria of the cement (LVS EN 197-1:2012). Cement is an inorganic hydraulic binder. Mixed with water it forms plastic mortar product that is easy to process and in the curing process it becomes a stone-like mass. Clinker is the main ingredient of cement and consists of limestone, clay, sand and iron additive in defined proportions. Clinker is made by heating a homogenous mixture of raw materials in rotary kiln in 1500°C temperature. Clinker is ground to a fine powder, adding gypsum or its anhydrite to produce cement.
