In 1847 in Ulm, Germany, Eduard Schwenk founded the building materials production company SCHWENK. During these years it has developed into a group of multiple companies and is one of the most innovative and modern of its sector in Germany.
SCHWENK develops its core business into five directions – cement, concrete, sand and gravel, ready-mix pumping and since 2023, recycling.
SCHWENK Building Materials Group is represented in Germany, Austria, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Namibia, Netherlands and Czech Republic as well as in the north in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Sweden, Norway and Finland. Number of employees is ca. 4000.
